Major Wi-Fi on Trains Conference Set for 2018
The battle to put ‘customer-acceptable’ Wi-Fi on trains is heating up. Trackside trials are appearing across the world and significant sums are set to be poured into this niche market.
Once again, BWCS will gather all the main players involved in this fast moving sector in one place over two days to discuss the future at our annual Wi-Fi on Trains Conference on 6 and 7 June in London.
“The Wi-Fi on trains sector is fast approaching a major junction” argues Graham Wilde CEO of BWCS, “and we are delighted to have so many of the leading players and train operators prepared to join in the debate with us.” Wilde went on, “This conference has long been at the forefront of moves to install and improve Wi-Fi services on trains, not just in the UK, but across the world and this year’s programme reflects that.”
As ever, the conference is firmly focused on getting train operators to share their real-life stories of putting Wi-Fi onto their trains, fighting to keep the customers happy and struggling to add new services and increase bandwidth.
Amongst those confirmed to speak at this year’s WiFi on Trains Conference – Train Communications Systems 2018 are Amtrak, Indian Railways, Network Rail, Transport for London, Deutsche Bahn and many others. The main European and UK train operators, as well as operators from India, the US and across the UK, will be sharing their experiences and challenges at the two-day conference.
This year the conference will be held at the prestigious 5 Star Grange City Hotel, a mere stone’s throw from the Tower of London.
Places are extremely limited and are selling out fast. Reservations can be made on the TrainComms website.
