Expected to serve three main employment centres in this region, the line will offer connectivity with metro Lines A and B, two tram lines and multiple Linéo bus lines.

It will also enhance connectivity between Blagnac airport and Matabiau station.

Arcadis Development Director Lionel Barin said: “Following our project management for the extension of three ‘short’ stations as part of the capacity doubling for Toulouse Metro Line A, ARCADIS experts, who are very close to our clients, will once again benefit from a flagship infrastructure project for a city and its wider region.”

Previously, between 2016 and 2017, Systra conducted preliminary designs for this line, while its subsidiary SYSTRA Foncier secured a land acquisition assistance contract for this third metro line project.
