The work will be carried out by two Wabtec divisions – Wabtec Railway Electronics and Xorail.

The Denver train control system uses PTC products that are also used in Class I railroads and other transit systems, and will be fully compatible with other PTC installations in the US.

The Denver’s commuter rail project includes three new lines with more than 36 miles of track and is expected to be completed in 2016.

Denver Transit Partners, led by Fluor Enterprises, will build, operate and maintain the project.
