The Danish Government has awarded three contracts totalling approximately $3.8bn in value to the joint venture Femern Link Contractors.

The contracts are for the design and construction of an 18km immersed tunnel, the Fehmarnbelt link.

Also included are the design and construction of tunnel element factory, ramps, bridges, and toll buildings. Claimed to be the longest road and rail tunnel, the Fehmarnbelt Link connects Lolland Falster regions in Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein in Germany.

NV5 Global has purchased certain assets of .X8e-Vinyard to expand environmental and infrastructure services across the southwest of the US.

X8e-Vinyard is headquartered in New Mexico in the US and offers services related to environmental engineering and construction.
