UNDERFRAME TRAIN WASH SYSTEMS

The newly redeveloped system offers contact-less cleaning of all types of railway rolling stock from sole plate downwards utilising high pressure water jets at low water volumes.

Bingham Rail underframe cleaners now include the following features:

• A robustly built new spray head that gives improved coverage and a higher standard of cleaning coupled with reduced maintenance costs
• A machine that replaces the “man-in-the-pit” and can work 24hrs/day, 7 days/week
• Elimination of health and safety issues related to chassis cleaning

• Automatic wash cycles at the press of a button with a large capacity plc memory for many different customer defined wash programmes
• A centrally mounted wash head for underframe cleaning
• Side mounted cleaning heads for skirt and bogey exterior washing

• Any combination of rolling stock from 1 to 6 cars long, including locos
