Kockum Sonics is a worldwide supplier of alarm signal systems, and provides TYFON train whistles to the railway industry.

The TYFON train whistle itself originates from the 1920s and has been used for train signalling since the 1930s.

As such, our rail whistles and train horn signals have a long history of reliable performance in a variety of extreme conditions whilst still providing audible signalling that well exceeds the UIC (International Union of Railways) parameters. ELECTRONIC TYFON ALARM SIGNALS

All aspects of the design and manufacture of the electronics within our products is carried out by staff at our Malmö facility. All products are tested throughout the whole manufacturing cycle to ensure they achieve the standards according to the UIC (International Union of Railways).
