SILYL MODIFIED POLYMER BONDING AND SEALING

Our SMP technology for bonding and sealing, which we pioneered, has gained a firm reputation in the railway industry. The advantage of Silyl Modified Polymer (SMP) based adhesives and sealants for the transportation sector are numerous: shorter pre-treatment times (in many cases primerless bonding is possible), increased temperature and UV resistance, and the absence of isocyanates.

SMP technology contributes to a major reduction of VOC usage. The durability of SMP-based products even under tough environmental exposure cuts back the need for replacement.
