The buffer handling device (BHD) is a piece of equipment used to facilitate replacing buffers on locos, coaches and wagons.

It can be used also for different components within its capacity of 200kg.

It is very easy to use due to its concept design specific for rail depots.

Two models are available:

  • BHD 2000 with all functions manually operated
  • BHD 2000-EP with lifting functions powered by battery

The EP model is a cordless equipment with battery installed on board.

It is designed to provide maximum security for to the operator who is freed from heavy weights to carry during a precise operation.

The complete maintenance operation can be performed by a single operator.
