Bingham Rail is a major designer and supplier for all depot service-road needs. Bingham Rail will take a project from conception and will assist in all aspects of the design and manufacture of a full and comprehensive range of carriage wash machines (CWM), controlled emission toilet (CET) systems, refuelling systems and lubrication aprons.

Bingham has a large and experienced service team that will upgrade and maintain all this equipment as well as being well-versed in the modification and servicing of many other suppliers to this market.

Our fully trained workforce is on-call 24/7 as a key service provider and maintainer to a significant number of train operating companies (TOCs) and is a key element of support for any service road out of normal working hours.

Train care and cleaning service

Bingham TrainCare can supply after-sales support for both in-house and other rail companies’ plants and machinery. It works with all its customers to ensure that their rolling stock demonstrates the highest level of presentation for public use. This is performed by manufacturing and supplying products designed specifically for railway applications.

A high level of cleanliness, at an economic cost, will result in a clean train. This is our paramount objective, using safe and environmentally friendly chemistry as the goal.

The Bingham TrainCare Advance brand has a range of products which have time and again proven to be the best solution in maintaining a train’s cleanliness both inside and out.

Train anti-graffiti film products and services

A full range of anti-graffiti filming products and services are supplied, from training operators in application and repair, right though to profile cutting to window size and fitting by our own trained staff.

Coating and resin finishing for trains

Bingham Cotech is the coating and resin finishing area of the group. The main product is Graffiti Stop, which is fully approved for Network Rail infrastructure use. This is a permanent, long-lasting coating which can be applied to any porous or non-porous surface and will repel all the paints, inks and dyes used by today’s graffiti vandals.

Once applied only water is required to remove unsightly graffiti and leave the area clean and like new in seconds; there is no need for any chemicals or specialist training. This is a completely safe and hassle-free solution to one of the railway’s major problems.

Specialist monitoring aerials, steps and door fixtures

Bingham Engineering manufactures an extensive range of rail parts from specialist monitoring aerials to steps and door fixtures.

Train frame building, racking systems and handling systems

We have a large structural steel and fabricating operation which also includes frame building, racking systems and handling systems. These are designed in-house, from the idea right through to installation and commissioning, to accommodate all rail users’ needs.
