Axiomtek, one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high-performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, has announced the launch of the eBOX639-830-FL, a fanless, noiseless, low power, CE (class A) certified embedded box computer utilising high-performance Intel® Atom™ dual-core processor D2550 with Intel® NM10 chipset.
The eBOX639-830-FL is especially designed to offer great expandability with two PCI slots that can support a variety of applications including motion and vision control, and one internal PCI Express Mini Card slot for Wi-Fi or 3G / 4G connectivity. The rugged embedded computer is designed with an IP30-rated rugged aluminium steel enclosure for best system protection. To withstand extreme working temperatures and harsh environment, the system offers unique thermal solution that allows for wide operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F).
The eBOX639-830-FL is ideally suited for passenger information system, in-vehicle PCs, entry-level gaming and video surveillance, as well as other automation and embedded applications.
The powerful eBOX639-830-FL has one 204-pin DDR3 1066 SO-DIMM system memory supporting up to 4GB. This feature-rich embedded computing box is also equipped with two display interfaces: VGA and HDMI.

To provide flexibility for various application needs, the eBOX639-830-FL offer rich I/O alternatives, including four COM ports (RS-232), six USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with jumbo frame support, one full size PCI Express Mini Card with mSATA support, one LPT port and two PCI expansion interfaces.
This CE (Class A) and EN 60950 certified embedded system provides the options of terminal block type (DC) or four-pin DIN type (AC to DC) power connector, as well as a choice of popular embedded operating systems, including Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), Windows® Embedded Standard 7 and Linux.
For ease of installation and system management, this highly customisable compact box PC can be wall-mounted and remotely controlled and managed with its built-in watchdog timer.
