ENSCO Rail’s Virtual Track Walk was the feature of the Washington Post Transportation section, October 10, in an article titled ‘Virtual inspections: A solution to Metro’s late-night service cuts?’ by Martine Powers.

The article discusses the challenges that the Washington Metro (WMATA) is facing in their track inspection programme and describes ENSCO’s machine vision technology that can help WMATA address these challenges and significantly improve track inspection efficiency and safety.

A photograph of ENSCO Rail Vice President Jeff Stevens explaining operation of the Comprehensive Track Inspection Vehicle (CTIV) accompanied the article.
