Jewers Doors Limited, a market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of specialist industrial doors, will exhibit at InnoTrans for the first time on stand 319 in the UK RIA Pavilion in Hall 26. InnoTrans is one of the largest international trade fairs for transport technology and takes place in Berlin on 18 to 21 September.

Jewers Doors manufactures the Phoenix range of industrial sliding and folding doors for train and tram entrances to maintenance depots and other vehicular openings to depots, wheel lathes, train washes, bogie drops, train assembly workshops and other industrial buildings.

The Phoenix range comprises the Swift bi-folding door for single-road openings, Osprey multi-leaf sliding folding doors for wider apertures and Kingfisher straight sliding doors.
Swift bi-folding industrial doors are the perfect choice for train maintenance depot doors.

Configured as side-hung, bi-folding doors with two leaves folding to each side, Swift doors are designed to open and close safely around live overhead-line equipment. Rail tracks are not affected by the operation of the doors, as leaves sweep across the tracks without the need for a bottom guide channel in the threshold.

Opening horizontally, Swift doors provide full-height visibility to the train driver at all times, reducing accidental impact damage, which is so common with vertically moving doors. Swift doors are simple to design into new-build projects or can be retro-fitted into existing buildings to replace tired roller shutters or overhead doors.
