ENSCO announced today that a Canadian railway has successfully deployed the ENSCO Digital Track Notebook® track asset management system in the United States.

It is currently being used by over 350 Track Inspectors and implementation in Canada is scheduled to be complete by early 2012.

The Digital Track Notebook is a scalable and economical web-based solution that allows companies to better manage their track assets. The system presents complex regulatory scheduling and reporting rules in an intuitive electronic interface that allows for easy implementation.

Key features of the Digital Track Notebook® include the ability to automatically schedule track inspections based on federal and railroad specific schedule requirements, log inspections and defects electronically, and create FRA and Transport Canada inspection reports. Additionally, the application allows customers to create and review several other key performance indicator reports.
