OEM Technology Solutions was one of more than 1,600 exhibitors at the largest international rail technology show in the world in September.

Managing director Richard Gobee and CEO James McLeod took the award-winning PC3 with them to the Berlin InnoTrans expo, as well as other OEM devices and designs already utilised in many applications around the world.

InnoTrans showcases the best in rail technology and at this year’s expo in Berlin there were more than 1,600 exhibitors from 41 different countries. The expo had more than 66,000 visitors and the response to the PC3 programmable controller was excellent.

“The response to the PC3 product was tremendous and we are currently preparing submissions to overseas rail corporations including Bombardier, Alstom, Vossloh, Sigma Coachair Group and Skoda. These opportunities are a direct result of showcasing the PC3 at InnoTrans,” says Richard.

“Our visit to InnoTrans allowed us to investigate our international competitors in detail and compare our technology to theirs. Our PC3 was truly unique and innovative compared to all other PLCs and programmable controllers on display. The feedback at InnoTrans from our customers, our prospects and our competitors was extremely positive and only helped convince us further that the PC3 is the first configurable single board computer for industrial applications in the world,” he adds.
