The new Tolosa railway workshop on the Roca line in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, was inaugurated on July 13 2018.
The inauguration of the new railway workshop was attended by Mauricio Macri, the president of Argentina. He was accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport of Argentina and the city of Buenos Aires.
Among the improvements that have taken place in the Tolosa workshop, it is worth highlighting the new Automatic Washing Tunnel, which was designed, manufactured and installed entirely by Spanish company Aquafrisch Sl.
It is a fixed installation, designed to wash trains on the way and in a single direction.
It can operate in both automatic and manual mode. Different washing programmes can be selected according to requirements.
