The company will deploy Enterprise Resource Planning software and the underlying hardware for automating the maintenance of the railways’ wagon fleet and diesel locomotives.
The project involves building two centralised ERP-based applications; Freight Maintenance Management for management of freight/ wagon depots and the Loco-Shed Management System for management of diesel locomotive sheds.
The work includes setting up the central data centre infrastructure, providing LAN at three sheds and supplying, installing and commissioning hardware and networking equipment.
