China Railway Group’s subsidiaries have won 15 rail contracts worth 69.2bn yuan ($10bn).
China Railway No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 9 Engineering Groups have secured the contracts to build four sections of the Hangzhou-Changsha Railway’s Zhejiang section, totalling 13.37bn yuan ($1.95bn).
No. 4 and No. 5 Engineering Groups of China Railway will build two parts of Hangzhou-Changsha Railway’s Jiangxi section, totalling 10.18bn yuan ($1.49bn), according to chinadaily.com.cn.
China Railway’s Bridge Engineering Group, No. 4 Engineering Group, No. 6 Engineering Group and Tunnel Group won contracts to build four sections of Hefei-Fuzhou Railway’s Anhui section, totalling 13.36bn yuan ($1.9bn).
China Railway’s First Group and Tunnel Group have won contracts to build two sections of the Yunan-Guizhou Railway’s Yunnan section worth 7.87bn yuan ($1bn).
Meanwhile, the China Overseas Engineering Group and the Bridge Engineering Group have secured contracts in Morocco, totalling 654m yuan ($95m).
China Railway Construction Engineering has secured a contract for the Guangzhou Harmony-type (high-speed) high-power National Railway Locomotive Maintenance and Repair Base worth 2.55bn yuan ($373m).
China Railway’s First Engineering Group and Tunnel Group have won contracts for two sections of Beijing’s line 7 subway, totalling 1.39bn yuan ($203m).
The contracts amount to 20% of China Railway Group’s 2009 revenue.
