Eurostar, the high-speed passenger service linking the UK and Europe, has launched a free mobile application to allow passengers to book journeys on the go and receive tickets directly to their mobile phones.

The bookings will enable passengers to have a ticket on their mobile phone with a barcode that can be scanned before they check in.

The Eurostar application is available on iPhone and Android devices, allowing passengers to book and manage journeys between the UK and Paris, Brussels and Lille.

The Eurostar mobile application will also include live service updates to keep passengers informed of disruptions and a personal profile page, which provides an option to store address details and seating preferences.

The free Eurostar application will provide bookings for up to six travellers at the same time, check-in using mobile ticketing, review of bookings and journey details, collection and review of loyalty points on the go, and access to service updates and FAQs.
