Work has resumed on the construction of a 359m-tall rail bridge over the Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir, India, after its alignment cleared a safety test.

The Chenab rail bridge is expected to be 35m taller than the 324m-tall Eiffel Tower in France and, on completion, is touted to be the world’s tallest railway bridge.
