Modaxo, an international technology firms collective committed to provide advanced software and solutions, has announced that it has acquired TTG Transportation Technology (TTG).

TTG, which is based in Sydney, Australia and Stirling, UK, has been supplying connected driver advisory systems globally since 2007.

This system works along with real-time traffic situations, helping rail operators to augment energy efficiency, network capacity, schedules, and maintenance expenses.

It cuts down carbon emissions and handles on-time running by providing accurate information to drivers to help them decide when to accelerate, brake or coast.

TTG currently have operations in four continents, with a worldwide install base of more than 8,000 portable and fixed units on various types of locomotives, such as passenger, freight and heavy haul trains, electric and diesel ranging from 22,000 tonnes and 2.5km long heavy haul to 320km/h very high-speed locomotives.
