Airex Composite Structures (ACS) receives the acceptance of GANGLOFF Cabins for the production of doors, floors and roofs of the new cable cars for Como-Brunate. GANGLOFF Cabins is a world leading manufacturer of self-supporting wagons for cable cars. Two architects from Mailand were hired to design the cars in an Art Nouveau style. With ACS as a partner, state of the art technologies are combined with antique charm.

At the September 2010 poll, the citizens of St. Gallen accepted the ‘S-Bahn St. Gallen 2013’ project. The regional rail operator, Thurbo has ordered several new GTW articulated rail cars for the implementation of this project. The trains will be fitted with the approved front ends of ACS, fulfilling the high requirement of the OEM and
operator. This follow-up order proves the reliability and sustainability of ACS products.

Further, ACS receives the order of Stadler Rail for more FLIRT front ends. These are produced for projects in the Czech Republic as well as in Italy. To date more than 1,200 FLIRT front ends have been delivered by ACS to Stadler Rail.

These successes prove the competence and position of ACS in the international rail market. With its forward-looking, future-oriented way of thinking ACS demonstrates its customer focused solutions and proficiency.
