Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), the global wireless and broadcast infrastructure specialist, will present complete passive and active solutions for in-tunnel and in-building wireless communications at Tunnelling World Middle East 2012.

Tunnelling World Middle East is a three-day strategic conference and exhibition that will gather urban planning, transportation, engineering and construction professionals together to discuss the challenges and opportunities in planning, designing and building world-class underground transportation infrastructure. All visitors are invited to the Technical Seminar Theatre, where exhibitors will present their offerings.

System design engineer Andreas Bergmeister is set to talk about RFS’s Distributed Antenna System (DAS), RADIAFLEX® radiating cables and CELLFLEX® foam dielectric cables, along with its deep design and integration expertise, in a 30-minute speech titled: ‘The challenge of in-tunnel coverage for mission critical and commercial wireless services.’

RFS’s featured products demonstrate its commitment to helping public safety organisations and transportation operators in designing and constructing all major mobile technologies and standards, for both commercial radio services and mission critical wireless services, including 2G/3G/4G radio (cellular, PCS, AWS, LTE700, LTE2600), VHF, UHF, LMR, GSM-Rail and TETRA communications.

RFS design and integration experts carefully review customer requirements to ensure the right combination of passive and active components are incorporated in the solution design. This holistic approach gives customers an end-to-end solution that is optimised from technology, commercial and cost (capital and operating) perspectives.

"We encourage visitors to the event to stop by the RFS booth 426 and learn more about the products and how RFS can help them get the best possible performance and cost-effective solution," says Peter Raabe, RFS Product Line Director for Wireless Indoor Solutions.
