Client: East Midlands Trains – Nottingham Station

East Midlands Trains required benches as part of their ongoing improvement programme being carried out by EMT and Bowmer & Kirkland. They required benches for their waiting areas.

Product: Erlau Bella Via Basic Pagwood Bench

East Midlands Trains purchased 12 Bella Via basic pagwood benches with armrests; they were fitted to the waiting areas on platforms 3a, 5 and 6. The benches were fitted during the ongoing station extension and improvement works. The benches were delivered and installed on a short lead time to achieve East Midlands Trains deadline, to have the waiting rooms operational for the Christmas period.

The Bella Via outdoor furniture range comprises an innovative trapezoid elegance, optical attractiveness alongside a bold distinctive style. Pagwood offers a variety of advantages to the benches. They are crack-proof, chemical-resistant and low-maintenance benches.

The benches were fitted by Bowmer & Kirkland – Derby.

The client was exceptionally pleased with the professionalism of the project and with the quality and aesthetics of the benches installed. They have also ordered Topsit Pagwood seating for other stations on the network. These will be installed in February / March 2014.
