SAB railway cable

The new series of SABIX rail cables by SAB Bröckskes fulfill the fire protection requirements according to DIN EN 45545-2. They will be presented at the Innotrans Fair from 23-26 September 2014 in Hall 14.1, Stand 212.

SABIX Rail Data – cables for signal-transmission in railway technology
The specially developed data cable SABIX R 605 FRNC with coloured cores for railway vehicles, the screened type SABIX R 615 FRNC or the pair-wise twisted type SABIX R 645 FRNC TP offers maximum planning reliability and high comfort for cable installation in railway vehicles.

Besides their high flexibility, these cables are manufactured according to the highest safety standards of railway technology.

SABIX Rail Control
The control cables SABIX R 600 FRNC, with externally certified materials according to DIN EN 45545-2, and the screened type SABIX R 638 FRNC are especially suitable for flexible applications in railway vehicles.

Also, for our single core cables, the high requirements of the SABIX A 146 FRNC and SABIX A 156 FRNC were confirmed according to DIN EN 45545-2.

SABIX A 280 FRNC X / SABIX A 285 FRNC X
The SABIX A 280 FRNC X and SABIX A 285 FRNC X control cables fulfill the requirements of DIN EN 45545-2 and have proven to be durable in practice.

The SABIX A 285 FRNC X control cable with overall tinned copper braid is recommended whenever electrical interference distorts signal transmission or when EMI emissions need to be suppressed.

SABIX Rail Bus – bus cables for railway technology
With the new CAT5e and CAT6 Ethernet cables SAB Bröckskes broadens its product portfolio for railway vehicles consequently and as a result, is able to offer additional railway cables.

The SABIX R 660 CAT 5e 2x2x22 AWG and SABIX R 691 CAT 6 4x2x26 AWG types fulfill the DIN 5510 fire protection standard.

After having passed the tests regarding flame propagation, smoke density and toxicity, SAB Bröckskes is able to offer Ethernet cables for railway technology, which are externally certified.
