International Railway Journal (IRJ) and IRITS Events are delighted to announce Supeo as the headline sponsor for International Railway Summit 2016.

Supeo participated in International Railway Summit 2015, in Barcelona, and found it to be a very good platform, providing value to both buyers and suppliers as well as new inspiration, contacts and networks.

International Railway Summit 2016 will offer Supeo the opportunity to talk to a wide range of potential customers and begin a new collaboration. The unique 30-minute one-to-one consultations offer a chance to enjoy conversations that are out of the ordinary, where the topic is not just the products that Supeo has to offer, but the problems faced by potential customers.

Supeo CEO and founder Troels Hannecke will provide a keynote presentation on big data within the main conference programme, produced and chaired by IRJ’s Editor-in-Chief David Briginshaw.

Hannecke comments: "Becoming the headline sponsor for International Railway Summit 2016 is the right choice, since we feel that we are a good fit for the event and we believe it to be one of the most important events of the year. We feel that it is a good platform for us, enabling us to reach out to the right people.

"I look forward to speaking about our experience with big data within the railway industry, which is one of the sectors producing the largest amount of data.

"It is an exciting topic, because while big, expensive solutions do exist, there are also a number of underused options that I will be looking forward to talking about, for example opening up access to data to entice outside developers to come up with ingenious usages. I am very much looking forward to speaking about it and I hope that my talk at International Railway Summit 2016 will inspire a new way of working."

IRITS Events managing director Jules Omura comments: "Rail technology is constantly evolving, thanks in large part to the IT sector’s rigorous R&D work, which has resulted in enhanced reliability, efficiency and safety of rail operations at very reasonable, often reduced, cost.

"It is one of our key missions to identify future rail supply market leaders and introduce them to global rail transport executives, and we are excited to partner with Supeo, a fast growing IT expert and a leading supplier to the Danish rail industry."

"I am delighted that Supeo’s participation in our 2015 event was so successful that they are now supporting the next summit as its main sponsor. I look forward to introducing Supeo to rail sector leaders at the next Vienna summit through their keynote presentation and one-to-one meetings."

In addition to providing a keynote presentation, Supeo will host the main exhibition stand and will provide one-to-one consultation to participating buyer companies as well as in networking functions throughout the summit.

International Railway Summit will take place from 17-19 February 2016 in Vienna, Austria.

Organisations interested in learning more about the summit and about how they can participate in the event can contact the organisers, IRITS Events and IRJ.
