The robust rBOX610 cost-effective din-rail fanless embedded system uses the low power RISC-based module (iMX287) processor for using in extreme operating environment, industrial automation applications, wireless personal residential metering and more.

Axiomtek is pleased to introduce rBOX610 robust din-rail fanless embedded system for embedded computing and communication solutions in critical environments. The extreme compact rBOX610 supports the low power RISC-based module (iMX287) processor with extended temperature range of -40°C to +70°C for using in wide range operating environments. Multiple built-in serial ports, high-speed LANs and USB 2.0 ports enable fast and efficient data computation, communication and acquisition. Its digital I/O feature provides users with the convenience of digital devices connection. Besides this, the industrial grade IP40-rated rBOX610 meets Safety Agency requirements and has passed heavy industrial CE and FCC testing.

The din rail unit features a redundant Ethernet LAN connection for greater availability and reliability. Two power paths input minimise the risk of data loss in the event of a single power failure. Its vertical din-rail form factor makes it easy to install the system in a small cabinet. Ready-to-run embedded Linux operation system

Independent and software-based power control of rBOX610 computer comes with the Linux 2.6 platform preinstalled to provide an open standard operating system for software program development, so, customers can use our kernel to complier with their software easily with efficiently. This makes the rBOX610 an optimal solution for minimising the cost and effort required for industrial applications.

The robust field controller has built completed with valuable industrial applications – ICMP, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, Telnet, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SMTP, ARP, NTP, DNS, PPP, PPPOE, FTP, TFTP, Serial Server (Support TCP Server/TCP Client/UDP/Pair/VC, Support IP filter, Support 32 TCP connections, Support QOS), Modbus gateway, SNMP, Remote Manager, Serial Port Redirector for Windows, HW’s lib (Wifi, DIO, CAN,3G, GPS, Watch Dog Timer, COM, Default Reading). Industrial-grade Design

This compact embedded system adopts an IP40-rated aluminum and steel enclosure. Its significant anti-vibration design can endure up to 5g. The rBOX610 utilises the reliable yet low power consumption iMX287 processor with no fan. To work in harsh environments, it is specifically designed to be operating in extremes of temperature ranging from -40°C ~ +70°C.

Safety & EMI/EMS Compliance

The rBOX610 meets Safety Agency requirements and has passed heavy industrial CE with FCC Part 18 testing, besides, this compact-size unit is equipped with one isolated DIO and two isolated 10/100 Ethernet ports for offering magnetic isolation protection with high operational reliability and stability.

RTC (Real Time Clock) Battery

The RTC battery (battery onboard & gold-capacity onboard) provides power for the internal real time clock & calendar and is ideally suited to vibration environment. In addition, the gold-capacity onboard would be first backup battery without consuming battery onboard when power shut-down which reduces maintenance efforts.
