Vortok International, a leading manufacturer of permanent way equipment for railway maintenance companies, is searching for a professional sales / marketing executive with overseas sales experience and good people-management skills. Technically qualified, you will be involved with the sale of existing products to national and international railway-infrastructure customers, generating new customers, managing and appointing agents and distributors around the world. In addition you will be expected to identify new product opportunities, qualify the specifications, drive the project development internally, prepare and negotiate complex technical and commercial bids, right through to final sale and delivery.
You will manage a small team of four people and be responsible for the management of the whole sales process including the internal sales office. This is a senior management position and you will work with the managing and technical directors to set the sales strategy and priorities as well as being responsible for aspects of managing and defining budgets and targets.
