Andie Harper has been appointed as the European director of programme management for transportation and infrastructure at the multi-disciplinary consultancy firm AECOM.

Andie will be responsible for leading AECOM’s programme management work in the transportation and infrastructure market sectors, primarily in the UK. AECOM’s global program management portfolio totals over $200 billion across the world, including projects such as the £50 billion Housing and Infrastructure Improvement Project in Libya, and the £100 million Programme Partner role for Crossrail as part of the Transcend Consortium.

Andie has over 30 years’ senior management experience within the UK rail industry. He was previously CEO of Metronet, where he oversaw its transfer of ownership to Transport for London, and from 1999-2002 he was managing director of the Infraco JNP (Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines). Andie has also acted as project director for the Edinburgh Tram project and programme director for Washington Group International, a large US construction company.
