In a live showcase at this year’s CeBIT from 6 to 10 March, KEYMILE will present its MileGate multi-service access platform for flexible FTTx broadband expansion. Visitors can also discover everything there is to know about new solutions for reliable data transmission in dedicated networks.

KEYMILE is a leading supplier of technology for communications solutions in access and transmission systems. The company will present its new products for operators of telecommunications networks on stand D66 in hall 13. A live showcase of the optical multi-service access platform MileGate will take centre stage. MileGate provides all broadband technologies, ranging from ADSL2plus to VDSL2 to optical GbE connections, with a high level of port density. As a result it enables cost-efficient migration of the networks from fibre to the curb (FTTC) to fibre to the home (FTTH). MileGate offers 480 active Ethernet fibre-optic connections per 8HU subrack at up to 1,000Mbps per subscriber. Therefore, the multi-service access platform is an ideal basis for expanding open-access networks.

In Hanover KEYMILE will show the latest generation of optical FTTH access modules that allow flexible adaption of the access system to increasing numbers of customers and broadband demands. As a result, MileGate is a superb platform for efficient ultra-high-speed broadband access in conurbations and rural areas. The hybrid system architecture, combined with system capacity of 400Gbps, is an excellent foundation for setting up sustainable network infrastructures.

MileGate’s multi-service and outdoor capabilities allow network operators to start from a street cabinet with FTTC. With system-level vectoring for VDSL2, all subscribers have reliable top bandwidths. In the future, the FTTC network can be migrated to FTTH network architecture. End customers will have access to top bandwidths the whole time. KEYMILE will show how to pursue this cost-efficient route with a multi-purpose access node by just exchanging the access modules.

On another part of the stand KEYMILE will showcase its products for dedicated networks belonging to railways, authorities, transport companies and utilities. Where these networks are concerned, the demands on reliability are particularly high. Reliable transmission of mission-critical data is vital. KEYMILE solutions fulfil these demands and also offer easy provisioning of Ethernet and TDM services from a single network element.
