After presenting a successful paper at the International Wheelset Congress last week in Chengdu, China, Wayside Inspection Devices (WID) will be presenting a new paper at the Intelligent Rail Summit 2016 in Naples.

"It is a great opportunity to present our most recent findings," says Paul Bladon, VP Business Development of WID. "The utilisation of this technology has progressed by leaps and bounds in recent years, and we have some exciting results to share."

"Our technology accurately measures bogie tracking behaviour and stability, and we have recently completed an illustrative video that summarises many of the consequences of incorrect bogie tracking and loss of stability," Paul continued. "The video demonstrates the findings both from a rolling stock and rail infrastructure perspective, and is the result of years of working with our industry partners. We are looking forward to showing the result of this work in Naples."

Paul’s presentation will be in the morning of 22 November.
