The Smart Cities India Expo 2022, one of the largest international technology exhibitions, has just ended in New Delhi. The event took place from 23-25 March. During this time, Unitsky String Technologies Inc. presented its transport and infrastructure solutions.
Unitsky String Technologies Inc. is an international engineering company that provides design, construction, and maintenance of overpass transport and infrastructure complexes. At the exhibition, the company demonstrated how innovative suspended transport above the ground can improve urban and suburban logistics.
Unmanned string transport solves the problems of traffic jams and accidents, and does not harm the environment. uPods (electric vehicles on steel wheels developed by the company) are capable of reaching speeds of up to 150 km/h, transporting up to 50,000 people per hour, and up to 100 million tons of cargo per year.
At the same time, uPods need much less energy to move than most types of conventional transport, and the overpass design allows you to keep the landscape and soil practically untouched on the territory through which the string rail track runs.
Thanks to the automated control system, the human factor is completely eliminated during the operation of uST transport and infrastructure complexes. The system provides full control on the movement route, along with uninterrupted operation, regardless of difficult weather conditions.
The company has two innovation centres: uSky Center, in Sharjah (UAE) and EcoTechnoPark, in Maryina Gorka (Belarus). They clearly demonstrate the operation and capabilities of string rail transport.
Smart Cities India Expo 2022 is the largest technology exhibition in Asia. It presents both the development of large companies, and the inventions of the new generation of start-ups that seek to make Indian cities smart and sustainable. The event is dedicated to green technologies, transport, environment, and other areas.
This year, the exhibition was held for the 7th time. 800 companies from India, China, Singapore, the USA, Brazil, France, Sweden, Germany, and many others took part.
