KEYMILE, a leading manufacturer of next-generation access systems, will exhibit its latest technical developments for railway and transport companies’ telecommunications networks at the InnoTrans 2008 in Berlin from 23-26 September.

At this year’s InnoTrans, the international trade fair for transport technology in Berlin, KEYMILE will showcase its product range in hall 4.1 on stand 227. At the fair, KEYMILE will focus on the new functions offered by UMUX. This is a next-generation multi-service access system, chiefly used in private telecommunications networks, for example, in railway companies.

KEYMILE will show UMUX with enhanced Ethernet functions, available together with TDM-based services. Providing PDH, SDH and Ethernet technology in a single system, it makes traditional and Ethernet-based services, along with the smooth migration of the telecommunications network, possible. With Power-over-Ethernet-Plus (PoE+), UMUX can also implement Ethernet connections of locations where no local power supply is available. UMUX will fulfil the increasing demand for high speed Ethernet services by using an Ethernet switchboard that is available immediately. With a ready-to-use new board, UMUX makes continued usage of legacy voice services in modern telecommunications networks possible. In addition to voice transmission and E & M signalling, it has an on-board voice and data conference function that allows central and distributed conferences.

In addition to UMUX, KEYMILE will present LineRunner SCADA, the broad brand transmission system for reliable and cost-effective data transmission of up to 11.4MB/s in telecontrol systems. LineRunner SCADA NG is a new generation multidrop-system. Data is exchanged over a network of up to 63 stations in a row.

Both systems will be shown in a detailed live application.
