LEROY AUTOMATION will demonstrate its latest innovations and SIL2 commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) remote input/output modules (RIOM) for three days at the 11th international exhibition of railway technology: SIFER 2019.

LEROY AUTOMATION is pleased to invite you to join this event in a couple of weeks from 26-28 March.

As part of the MIPIRAIL pavilion, a regional cluster of innovative companies specialised in railway applications, LEROY AUTOMATION’s technical sales and system-engineering experts will be available all day at their stand 330-A located in Hall 2 of the Lille Grand Palais exhibition centre.

During this SIFER 2019 edition, LEROY AUTOMATION will highlight the following innovations:

  • Advanced SIL2 Logical Control Unit (LCU) allying modularity, scalability and highest digital I/O density in a compact form factor to facilitate train architects’ integration and design
  • High-performance multichannel electronic circuit breakers that are customizable with tailor-made trip curves and built-in train control and monitoring systems maintenance / diagnostic features to improve standard condition-based monitoring and prognostic health management systems

Suitable for on-board traction control and train signalling architectures, those high-end solutions aim to reduce drastically the number of traditional electromechanical relays, to replace space-consuming micro-circuit breakers and to simplify the complex wiring of electrical cabinets and thus, to reduce electrical and traction power-pack subsystems.
