The next edition of the InnoTrans International Trade Fair for Transport Technology will be held on 18-21 September 2018.

MEDCOM has been a regular exhibitor in Berlin, Germany, for many years.

This time, the Polish manufacturer will present several new solutions for railway vehicles and some more devices manufactured in the SiC technology, introduced into series production, including SiC chargers for electric buses and a SiC propulsion system used as standard in the Moderus Gamma trams manufactured by Modertrans.

MEDCOM’s stand (hall 17, stand 215) will exhibit a traction inverter integrated with a SiC auxiliary converter for electric buses, a battery charger for electric multiple units, and new devices for metro vehicles: the FT-400-750D new generation traction inverter, the PSM-145 SiC converter, and the PSM-55 converter.

Newag and Solaris will present as many as 4 vehicles equipped with devices manufactured by the Warsaw company, MEDCOM, on Berlin’s exhibition tracks. They will include:

  • Dragon 2, a new electric locomotive manufactured by Newag, exhibition track 7/401
    (MEDCOM’s SiC auxiliary power converters, traction inverters, and battery chargers)
  • Impuls 2, a new electric multiple unit manufactured by Newag, exhibition track 7/400
    (MEDCOM’s propulsion system, auxiliary power supply, and TCMS)
  • Urbino 12, a new electric bus manufactured by Solaris, outdoor area O/802
    (MEDCOM’s propulsion system and bus charger)
  • Trollino 12, a new trolleybus manufactured by Solaris, outdoor area O/803
    (MEDCOM’s propulsion system and auxiliary power supply)

This autumn, MEDCOM will also appear at the TRANSEXPO fair in Poland (Kielce, 23-25 September 2018, Hall F, Stand 8).
