TE Connectivity has been named in Fortune magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies 2019 list for the second consecutive year.

The annual survey, conducted by Fortune and Korn Ferry, is given to top executives, directors and financial analysts, to identify the companies that enjoy the strongest reputations among their peers and across industries. TE was ranked 6th in the electronics industry.

“We believe that it’s the dedication of our 80,000 employees around the globe to TE’s purpose of creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future that has earned our place on this list again,” said CEO Terrence Curtin. “We are proud to be admired by our peers, shareholders and customers and work hard to maintain and solidify their trust.”

TE Connectivity helps customers in approximately 140 countries create the technology of tomorrow in industries that include transportation, industrial applications, medical technology, energy, data communications and home appliances.

In addition to the World’s Most Admired Companies recognition from Fortune, TE has been named to Fortune’s 2018 Change the World list, the Dow Jones Sustainability North America list for seven consecutive years and has repeatedly been recognised as one of Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies. TE is also recognised as a top 100 global innovator by Clarivate Analytics and a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality in the US and Mexico by the Human Rights Campaign.

Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list is the definitive report card on corporate reputation. To compile the rankings, corporate reputation and performance are measured against nine key attributes, namely innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
