Montreal-based SNC-Lavalin has acquired Interfleet Technology, a UK-based rail technology consultant, to expand its rail infrastructure business.
Interfleet’s services cover rolling stock, systems and rail management on a national and international scale, and serve public and private customers in Scandinavia, Central Europe, Australasia, India, North America and UK.

The acquisition is expected to support SNC-Lavalin’s long-term growth strategy in the rail infrastructure sector.
The complementary geographical reach of both companies is expected to provide customers with a wider range of technical services, resources and capabilities in the future.
