Internet rail retailer Raileasy and UK-based Thales have unveiled a new version of Thales’s Rail Planner Live system, which offers a personalised real-time travel planning tool for rail travellers.
The new Rail Planner Live system offers ticketing directly from the traveller’s mobile phone.

The Rail Planner Live is an Android app that offers real-time information, fare searching and instant ticket sales.
The application will also delivers live information with train times, updates about delays and cancellations, live departure boards, fare information and SMS alerts notifying about the delays.
The Get Me Home functionality allows users to find the most direct route to their homes from anywhere in the UK.
