SNCF Launches Bid to Grow Global Freight Network07 April 2008 14:55 French railway SNCF has launched a full-scale takeover bid for transport and logistics firm Geodis to create a large global freight transport company. SNCF, which already owns 42 percent of Geodis, has valued the bid for the company at €1.1bn.
