Thai PM Pledges Money for Rail Link31 March 2008 15:53 Thailand’s Prime Minster Samak Sundaravej has pledged 900 million baht towards the construction of a nine-kilometre passenger and freight railway extension, writes the Bangkok Post. The railway line will run from Thanaleng on the Thai border to Vientiane, the capital city of bordering Laos.
