Lithuanian Railways Upgrades Rail Radio30 January 2008 12:36 Lithuanian Railways has signed a €50.5m contract with global communications company Nortel to install wireless communications on its commuter trains. Working with its partner company Belam, Nortel is to implement its GSM-R radio system to ensure compatibility with other Lithuanian and European rail networks.
