Bombardier Signals Latvia's Future

03 December 2007 16:45

Canadian-based Bombardier Transportation has won a rail contract to modernise Latvia's signalling system.

The contract includes the manufacture, supply and installation of the Bombardier Interflo 200 signalling system on Latvia's east-west routes.

The Interflo 200 system has been designed specially for high-density main lines.

Traffic control centres and communications and power equipment will also be installed as part of the project.

Bombardier led a consortium for the contract worth approximately €41m, of which Bombardier's share is around €12m.
