UK Rail Station Gets Revamp for City Birthday17 August 2007 11:33 Liverpool Lime Street railway station in the UK will get a £2m revamp as part of the city's 800th birthday celebrations. Funded by transport organisation Merseytravel, the makeover includes new flooring to the south concourse of the station, larger data screens and a relocated taxi rank.
