Istanbul to get Light Railway by 201207 August 2007 17:03 Turkey's largest city will get a light railway and a new bridge as part of a transport overhaul, according to Turkish officials. The new plans for Istanbul include a 250km light railway by 2012, the city's Mayor said yesterday. The government is also currently considering an international project to build a third bridge over the Bosphorous strait.
