The Argentinean capital of Buenos Aires is seeking ($290m) from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to build a new line on the capital's metro system.
The line will stretch 11km will have 14 stations linking the southern part of the city with the north and will improve accessibility at Plaza Constitución, one of the system's main transfer centres.
The metro line's cost is estimated at €620m ($903m) including rolling stock, according to bnamericas.com.
The 15-station Buenos Aires metro line was built in 1944, and now transports around 104,000 passengers each day.
