MOBILE LIFTING JACKS

Pfaff-silberblau offers a wide range of lifting jacks:

• SD-type - capacities 5 - 10 tonne per jack with universal adapter plates for light rail, tramway and buses
• HD-type - capacities 16 - 50 tonne per jack with movable or fixed load carrying arm for railway cars and heavy locomotives

UNDERFLOOR LIFTING SYSTEMS

Pfaff-silberblau underfloor lifting systems combine innovative technology while maximising work efficiency. The entire length of a vehicle can be lifted at the wheels or on the body. The Pfaff-silberblau unique split-rail and cantilever-type hoists allow the changing of bogies or wheelsets from any position. Any number of coupled trains can be lifted simultaneously. In the raised position the underfloor system provides unimpeded access from all sides. Hazards caused by open pits and cables are eliminated. The lifting columns totally disappear within the floor which allows workshop tired vehicles to move freely on the workshop floor. These systems can be provided with integral wheel spinning and axle changing capabilities.

BOGIE REPAIR STANDS

The principle is similar to that of underfloor lifting systems. Different bogie types can be lifted to perform inspection or maintenance works in an ergonomically optimal position for the shop personnel. As an option, Pfaff-silberblau bogie repair stands can be fitted with an integrated axle-turning and sliding device as well as an extendable motor support table. The connection of the track system to the repair stand saves valuable time for transport of bogies.

BOGIE HANDLING UNITS

A versatile, practical and indispensable vehicle for dual usage on track and floor for the transport of bogies across the workshop. When positioned under the lifted train, the bogie can be lowered by lifting screws and transported via a battery-powered electric motor drive to the repair area. The U-shaped form of the bogie handling unit gives free access from all sides

SPREADER BAR CRANES

Pfaff-silberblau provides special spreader bar cranes for car repair shops and manufacturing plants. These cranes lift complete car bodies off the bogies during maintenance works. Custom cranes with rotary movements and transferring gantries for rail-bound vehicles can be provided to satisfy all of the customer’s requirements.

LIFT-TURNING DEVICES

Repair work, maintenance, inspection, welding and paintwork on bogies and frames demand easy access to different areas of the vehicle parts. Pfaff-silberblau mobile or stationary lift-turning devices make this possible. Both bogies and long car frames can be lifted to the best ergonomic height and turned 360°. The load is secured in every position by self-locking screws.
