BHB - Wash Plant Equipment for Trains, Trams, Metro Systems and Public Transport Services

BHB has worked in the wash plant industry for many years and has the experience and the technical know-how to provide you with train washing plants of the highest quality. In recent years, BHB has developed a range of truck and bus washing plants to complement the range of train washing plants. Today BHB's range of products encompasses the entire field of cleaning technology for train wash systems and bus wash plants.

BHB does not only sell the plants - we also offer a complete package of services, including water treatment systems and dosing stations. Planning and engineering is provided as well as a superb aftersale service. By having a close partnership with experienced companies in the field of train washing plants, BHB is able to develop customised systems according to customers’ wishes.

TRAIN WASHING SYSTEMS

We can design our train washing plants for drive-through washes, roll-over washes, and stop and go washes. In drive-through wash systems, the trains to be washed move through the plant while the wash aggregates are stationary; in roll-over wash systems the trains to be washed are positioned inside the wash plant while the moving wash aggregates wash the stationary vehicle; in stop and go systems the sides, roof and skirt areas are washed in drive-through mode while the cab ends are washed with moving wash aggregates while the train stands still.

STATIONARY BRUSH STATIONS

BHB’s stationary brush station (the EBW model) is designed to wash the sides of the train in a drive-through system. The roof edges and skirt areas of the train can also be included if required.

WASH WAGON PLANT

BHB’s ESTW wagon washing plant consists of two independent wash wagons with one or two side brushes and an optional front brush on each side of the tracks.

The plant is designed for washing trains in drive-through wash halls with an overhead wire or for washing trolley busses.

BRUSH WASH GANTRY

The EWR brush wash gantry is designed to wash the cabs, sides and roofs of busses and trucks. The brush wash gantry is also ideal for washing track-mounted vehicles in drive-through halls without overhead wire or dead-end-halls.
