Strategic Partnership of Schenck Process and D.I.C. Solutions

Schenck Process aims to further consolidate its software expertise in the field of dispatch automation systems and has to this end agreed a strategic partnership with D.I.C. Solutions of Augsburg, Germany. Both companies have already been working together successfully since last year in the field of dispatch automation. The future partnership is aimed primarily at providing robust, highly available software architecture on the basis of modern JAVA applications.
In addition to the established software features, Schenck Process will now be able to offer greater transparency in terms of dispatch automation processes and provide information via secured Intranet and Internet connection. Peter Groll, Vice President Transport Automation for the Schenck Process Group, is confident of the success of the partnership: "Schenck Process' competence in Transport Automation and D.I.C. Solutions' competence in fail-proof web components is the perfect match", he emphasised on the occasion of the contract signing on the 26th of June in Darmstadt, Germany. "With this co-operation, we will be able to offer our customers future-proof PC-based solutions for their logistics applications even better than before."
