TRAPPER® DRS RAIL VEHICLE WEIGHING SYSTEM FOR COMMERCIAL WEIGHINGTrapper® weighing systems are installed directly to a gravel bed. This basic cost-effective solution makes it possible to move the system more easily from one place to another. The system works excellently in difficult weather conditions. Trapper® weighing systems are designed to provide information on the flow of goods reliably and quickly. Weighing information can be used for invoicing, stock accounting, compiling statistics and monitoring production. Also, liquid wagons can be weighed in-motion as both bogies of a wagon are on the scale at the same time. TRAPPER® WEIGHING BRIDGE SYSTEMThe unique Trapper® weighing bridge system is designed to automatically weigh both moving and stationary train wagons. The system consists of one, two or three weighing bridges and a central processing unit that controls the functions. All models have automatic wagon recognition, which determines when to start and stop weighing. Trapper® weighing systems automatically weigh all wagon types. The system selects the weighing bridges used for weighing wagons based on the wagon length and number of axles. There is no need to enter wagon information into the system in advance. SILVER POINT+® FOR AUTOMATIC DYNAMIC CONTROL WEIGHINGSilver Point+® is the most modern solution for the automatic monitoring of wagon weights and loads. SilverPoint+® can be quickly and easily installed with no foundation work or rail disconnection required. SilverPoint+® functions as a fully automatic, unmanned traffic controller, issuing alerts for overweight or incorrectly loaded carriages. The system automatically recognises passing trains and their locomotives, and two-, four-, six-, or eight-axle wagons. The system reports the axle, bogie and total weights of each locomotive and wagon, along with the total weights and speeds of the passing trains. In addition, the system compares the front and back weights of carriages in order to detect incorrectly loaded wagons. Side loads can also be measured, with detection of wagons that are loaded too much on one side (optional equipment). Alerts to overweight or incorrectly loaded wagons are automatically displayed on the screen and printed, and can also be automatically sent in email form to the control room or as SMS messages to a mobile phone in the locomotive. SCALEX WAGON IDENTIFICATION SYSTEMThe Scalex WID wagon identification system is based on data collectors attached to wagons and on read / write heads installed on the track. Pivotex has also designed a new video and web-based wagon identification system: Scalex Video ID. This new type of wagon ID system has been designed to give wagon numbers and tracking data both night and day. PIVOTRACK TRACKING SYSTEMBased on standard technologies (GSM, SMS and GPS) combined in an intelligent way, PivoTrack offers railway companies a complete solution to track all their assets and, if needed, even personnel. Tracking is possible on an international level since it is based on standard GSM technology; wherever there is GSM coverage, the system is able to track the objects. With improved asset management, train operating companies will be able to reduce the capital tied up in rolling stock and improve their profitability.
