STATIC RAILWAY SCALES

Pfister's static railway scales consist of standard weighbridge modules with lengths between 5m and 16m. Various other lengths can be realised with the addition of different weighbridge modules.

Weighing capability depends on the bridge lengths. Our classic model is adaptable to all current rail profiles and rail gauges. We can deliver high-quality concrete pre-assembled parts to the customer site or, alternatively the foundation can be constructed on-site according to our drawings.

STATIC COMBINED RAILWAY-TRUCK WEIGHBRIDGE

With our combined railway-truck weighbridge you can weigh both trucks and wagons on a single weighing system. Various lengths can be realised with the addition of a combination of different weighbridge modules (module lengths from 5m to 16m). Weighing capability ranges from 60t to 300t, depending on bridge lengths. The KGW is adaptable to all current rail profiles and rails gauges.

All our static railway scales and combined railway-truck weighbridges are commercially verifiable to precision class III and comply with PTB (Fed. Physical-Technical Institute) and OIML regulations as well as DIN Standards. Load capacity is according to UIC 71 (International Union of Railways).

MEW is suitable for all rail vehicle types. Installation in different rail gauges and profiles is possible. The MEW is ideal for:

• Determination of wheel, axle and bogie lifting forces
• Wheel axle and bogie mounting adjustment and checking
• Static determination of masses for rail vehicles and wagons

Additional mass recording (weight) of trains or wagons and wagon-loading overload checking is also possible. Measuring is performed via two independent pre-calibrated weighing beams on which masses are recorded via the wheel flanges of the wheels, axles or bogies, while data may be displayed and printed out on-site using an instrument case.
