Weighing and Controls Equipment

AMTAB's dynamic scale is used in an optimised automatic loading system for an iron ore train. The train passes through the silo without stopping while loading and weighing.

AMTAB's automatic weighing system track installation. The net weight of the cars are sent to the customer by the connected data network. The cars empty weight is also automatically recorded and updated in the system.

The train detector can detect when a train stops so that, for example, routes and level crossings barriers can be released.

The wheel flat detector measures the wave induced in the rails by the wheels when a train passes. The signals from the sensors are then analysed by the computer.

The OPTImess system involves a laser triangulation scanner that measures the height and lateral position of the contact wire during travel.

To classify of the state of wear of the railhead, and evaluate the necessary maintenance work, rail profile measuring vehicles, equipped with laser sensors, are used.

The RAILMONITOR saves on time and costs as its measuring time, including setting down, measuring and evaluation, comes to less than 20s/profile.

The compact, laser-based wheel profile measuring instrument ensures that the profile data of wheels are selected and measured reliably.

With the wheel set measurement system, all parameters to be measured are determined, measured automatically and logged by entering the wheel set identification.

HBM has vast experience in the electrical measurement of mechanical quantities.

Substantial applications knowledge has allowed us to provide complete systems solutions for testing and measurement to the railway industry.

For rail car bodies we provide static and dynamic multipoint measuring technology for 1,000 and more measuring channels.

Our unique, dynamic multipoint measuring technology allows data from all connected measuring channels to be acquired synchronously and in parallel.

As a partner in measurement technology, HBM provides you with well-tuned components ranging from sensors through to amplifiers and software.

Pfister's static railway scales consist of standard weighbridge modules with lengths between 5m and 16m.

Pfister's classic railway scale model is adaptable to all current rail profiles and rail gauges.

Our combined railway-truck weighbridge allows you weigh both trucks and wagons on a single weighing system.

The KGW is adaptable to all current rail profiles and rails gauges.

Additional mass recording (weight) of trains or wagons and wagon-loading overload checking is also possible with Pfister's MEW.

Schenck's new MULTIRAIL® LiquidWeight has beenspecially optimised for weighing liquids.

MULTIRAIL LiquidWeight works at weighing speeds of up to 10km/h.

Our range of MULTIRAIL modules offer theperfect solutions for a host of monitoring anddiagnostic tasks concerning wheels and rails.

Schenck process MULTIRAIL sensorsfor every application that have calibration to TRF 0014, rail measurement option to TRF 0019, rail / PTB / EBA / NWML certification, software and data reporting to TRF, and combined diagnostic systems.

Schenck offers a complete package of service components to ensurethat your MULTIRAIL system is reliable and permanently online.

Our systems consist of weighbridges, data processing systems, windows-based weighing programs and other accessories.

The TrapperĀ® weighing systems are installed directly to a gravel bed. This creates significant cost-savings, as an expensive concrete bed is not needed and the installation time is short.

Side-load detection for increased safety.

Scalex Video ID for real-time semi-automatic identification of railroad wagons on the web and data transmission into in-motion weighing programme.

Pivotex's range of industrial weighing and control systems provides the ultimate tracking solution for the railway technology industry.
